How to Set Up IP Rotation with Webshare

This guide shows the fastest way to rotate IPs using Webshare and Doppelganger.
No coding. No API keys. No setup headaches.

Step 1: Get Free Proxies from Webshare#

  1. Go to Webshare and sign up (no payment required).
  2. You automatically get 10 free proxies on signup.
  3. Choose your plan if you want more IPs (optional).

You can do everything in this guide using only the free proxies.

Step 2: Download Your Proxy List#

  1. In the Webshare dashboard, go to Proxies.
  2. Click Download Proxy List.
  3. A .txt file will be downloaded to your device.

The file looks like:

ip:port:username:password
ip:port:username:password

Step 3: Import Proxies into Doppelganger#

  1. Open Doppelganger.
  2. Go to Settings → Proxies.
  3. Click Import Proxies.
  4. Select the .txt file you downloaded from Webshare.

Your entire Webshare pool is now inside Doppelganger.

Step 4: Configure the Rotation Pool#

  1. Toggle Include Default IP in Rotation Pool if you want default (pre-configured to host IP) included in the rotation pool.

Doppelganger automatically handles rotation for you.

Step 5: Enable Proxy Rotation on Your Task#

  1. Open your task.
  2. Toggle Rotate Proxies → ON.
  3. Run the task.

That’s it.
Every request now rotates through your full proxy pool automatically.

Notes#

  • You can re-download the proxy list anytime and re-import it if you upgrade plans.
  • Rotation is handled inside Doppelganger, not Webshare.
  • Works with any other plan or proxy provider (Oxylabs, BrightData, Decodo, custom, etc).

You now have automatic IP rotation using Webshare + Doppelganger.
Import once, toggle rotation, run. That’s it.
